Salicylic acid (2%): Also called beta hydroxy acid, it is an exfoliant that has the ability to penetrate the pores. In this way, it exfoliates the skin both on its surface and inside the pores. It is an ingredient with great effectiveness in reducing pimples, blackheads and other acne lesions.
Gluconolactone (4%): Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid. In concentrations greater than 3%, it gently exfoliates the skin. Its molecules are larger than those of glycolic acid, which means that it penetrates the skin less and causes less irritation. This allows its use on all skin types.
Mandelic acid (2%): AHA derived from bitter almonds, but is milder than some other AHAs such as glycolic acid and lactic acid.
